Kwalu’s Caterina Behavioral Dining chair is built to psychiatric use specifications; durable and tamper-proof. Features include Kwalu’s pick-proof polymer, steel reinforcement in all joints, a concealed bottom which prevents access to any exposed staples or loose fabric, a seat attached with tamper proof hardware and side stretchers. Optional floor mounting is also available.
  • Durable Finish - Kwalu's solid surface (1/8” thick) proprietary finish doesn’t have any of the drawbacks of wood. The frames are moisture impervious, graffiti-resistant, easy to clean and maintenance-free.
  • Steel Reinforced - Our patented steel-reinforced joint system uses over 20 pieces of steel in most Kwalu chairs. Stop ongoing and costly furniture replacement.
  • Tamper Proof Seat Protector - Laminate seat bottom with ventilation but no access to internal building materials and loose fabric; no visible staples, tamper-proof screws and brackets.
  • Tamper Proof Staple Cover - Tamper proof staple cover does not allow upholstery staples to be removed.
  • Easy to Clean - Clorox Healthcare and Kwalu are partnering to promote cleaner surfaces. Kwalu chairs have no topical coatings, so sanitizing solutions commonly used in healthcare environments can be used - including 100% bleach – without degrading the finish.
