South Decatur School District in Indiana consulted with American Commercial Furniture to update administrative offices that had not received new furniture in over 20 years. While only a few rooms received new furniture on this project, it is was important for the administrative offices to be decommissioned and new furniture installed over Winter Break to minimize disruptions.
Principal Nicole Smith wanted a welcoming look for the administrative offices, while incorporating the school's burgundy colors. Indiana Furniture's Canvas collection offered the look and long lasting quality the school was desiring, while integrating built-in power and height adjustable features into the desks. Kirsche with black accents was chosen for the primary finishes, while Kwalu Novara guest chairs were upholstered in Momentum's Ace Scarlet for a resimercial feel.
Ritz training tables from Enwork were used in a multi-purpose training room, allowing them to be nested & stored when a more open floorplan is required. Similar to tables, seating needed to be flexible as well, which made the SitOnIt Movi a fantastic fit. The majority of the items used in this project are Made in America or finished in America, ensuring long-lasting quality that will benefit the school for years to come.
