St. Luke School

Working Together On A Modern Education Design.

The leadership team at St. Luke School reached out to us for assistance with a five-room remodel spanning their pre-K and kindergarten classrooms. Over the years, these rooms had accumulated a mix of mismatched furniture, resulting in a “hodge-podge” appearance that lacked cohesion and a professional image—something the school recognized was impacting prospective enrollment. A year earlier, they had invested in desks that were already deteriorating, and they wanted to avoid repeating that costly mistake.

Through our collaborative discovery process, we worked closely with the school to uncover their vision for modern, functional learning spaces. Together, we developed a design that reflected their goals while achieving a fresh, unified aesthetic. It was important to the team that each classroom include dedicated areas for small group learning, yet maintain clear sightlines so teachers could easily supervise students.  3D renderings and a virtual 3D walkthrough made available by Jonti-Craft helped the school visualize its new classrooms.

We selected Jonti-Craft furniture as the primary line for the project, ensuring a cohesive and durable solution for early education. Jonti-Craft's deep catalog offered an extensive selection of seating, tables, and play furniture.  Gressco soft seating provided another element to classrooms, while WB manufacturing and Mooreco were utilized for activity tables and chairs.  Our design also prioritized ample storage to maintain a clean, organized, and contemporary look, including custom mobile storage for large play blocks. After several rounds of thoughtful revisions, our project management and logistics team coordinated receipt & installation, successfully completing the project before the first day of school.

St. Luke initiated the project nine months in advance of the installation date, which allowed for a smooth, stress-free design process and gave the school access to the widest range of product options—ensuring they could choose exactly what they wanted for their refreshed learning environments.
