The Bryght Labs team - founders of ChessUp and previously featured on Shark Tank - reached out to American Commercial Furniture as they prepared for an upcoming office relocation and began exploring cubicle solutions. While they had a clear vision shaped by a positive experience in a previous workplace, they were frustrated with the response times and approach they received from a local Steelcase dealer.
Through our collaborative design process, we worked closely with Bryght Labs' leadership leam to translate their vision into a functional, intentional workspace. The client placed a strong emphasis on workflow, privacy where needed, and flexibility for collaboration. The work environment was extremely important for employee morale and fostering the team. Just as important, the team recognized that the work environment plays a critical role in employee morale and company culture, making a traditional “cube farm” an unacceptable option.
The final solution is a custom workstation layout that strikes a balance between structure and openness. The design delivers the efficiency of a cubicle system without the closed-off feel often associated with them, resulting in a bright, inviting space that supports both focused work and collaboration. By aligning product selection, layout, and budget, the project was completed on the desired timeline and achieved the modern, high-performing office Bryght Labs envisioned.
