Worthington Christian School was looking to transform an existing classroom into a workspace that would be used to provide floating teachers with a home base. In addition to a 6 desk panel system suite, the school wanted two private offices, complete with a door, but did not want to build physical walls due to the high expense.
That's where Open Plan panel systems came into the picture. Open Plan had a solution for desks and panels for the floating teachers, as well as 85" high panels with doors that could be used to create private offices. The American Commercial Furniture design team worked with the school through multiple revisions to land on the perfect layout for this new space. The 6 desk panel system setup provided each teacher with two personal storage pedestals and an L-Shaped workspace. 67" panels with glass inserts were chosen to provide each teacher with a sense of space, without making them feel isolated. Open Plan's quick-ship materials had several options that would work well within the space, and the school landed on Wild Card Smoky Pine.
Our work did not stop there! Due to the complexity of panel systems, the school opted for our full delivery & installation services, which were completed with minimal disruption to the school. All panels were installed, trash removed, and the area left ready for the teachers.
