Features

• Durable Finish: Protea™ doesn’t have any of the drawbacks of wood. The frames are moisture impervious, graffiti-resistant, easy to clean and maintenance-free.
• Trendelenburg Mechanism: Engaged by staff only, the mechanism activates from either side when the chair is fully reclined to 72” and pressure is applied to the back.
• Optional Upholstered Arm Panels: The Upholstered Arm Panels are available and optional.
• Central Locking System: Locks all four casters with a single control.
• Optional Transfer Arm: An optional Transfer Arm, available on the arm opposite the Ellie Recliner's lever, can be raised and lowered for easy patient transfers.
• Optional Adjustable Headrest: An adjustable headrest is available and is optional.
• Inclined Footrest: The footrest tucks under the seat of the Ellie Recliner for better positioning from sit to stand.
• Push Bar: The push bar aids staff in positioning the recliner, and is made with Protea.
• Replaceable Components: The Ellie back, seat, continuous footrest, arm panels and caster with bumper are all replaceable components.
• Safety Footrest: Safety footrest collapses upon overload.
• Optional IV Pole Holder: An optional IV Pole Holder is available and must be attached on the side opposite the Ellie Recliner’s lever.
• Optional Foley Bag Hook: An optional Foley Bag Hook is available and must be added to the side opposite the Ellie Recliner’s lever.
• Optional Heat/ Massage: Heat and Massage is an optional feature, only available if Upholstered Arm Panels are used.
• Optional Tablet Table: Available as an add-on. Not compatible with the Transfer Arm option.
• Optional Side Folding Table: Available as an add-on. Not compatible with the Transfer Arm option.
