We ordered two of these bar stools for our kitchen island. They are very sturdy and well-made, and they look beautiful with our granite counter top. My husband & I are both large people (200-250 lbs.) so we wanted chairs that would comfortably and reliably hold our weight. These chairs are perfect. One minor glitch: The first chairs arrived without hardware, and one of the chair frames had a small split in the wood. We contacted Customer service, and they ordered a new frame & hardware for us immediately; those arrived within 3-4 days. Just be sure you keep all the original packing materials until you're sure you won't need to return anything. I would definitely order from this company again.
